Peasant Bread

I found the most amazing recipe for something called peasant bread. Bread for me is a total hit or miss, sometimes it turns out great and other times I think I'm cursed by the bread gods. This recipe however is fool proof! I loved how the outside of the bread was almost crunchy while the inside was nice and soft and airy. It was also a great excuse for me to use my new to me Pyrex bowl that I found at our local Goodwill. I have probably made this bread at least 4 or 5 times in the past two weeks and I've felt like it was a great discovery for this fall season because its been fantastic with all the different soups I've been making. So here you go, trust me and try this fantastic bread from Alexandra Cooks, I hope you love it as much as my family has.
